This volume is ok, it's just that a lot of the issues in this volume were very repetitive with multiple characters telling spawn that he is still refusing to accept who he is and that he's being played by hell。 There are too many issues that ultimately led to nothing。 Still, when it was working it was really good and I actually found the stuff with the detective's sam and twitch more interesting than the spawn stuff, and the last couple of issues are actually really good。 Ultimately, this volume This volume is ok, it's just that a lot of the issues in this volume were very repetitive with multiple characters telling spawn that he is still refusing to accept who he is and that he's being played by hell。 There are too many issues that ultimately led to nothing。 Still, when it was working it was really good and I actually found the stuff with the detective's sam and twitch more interesting than the spawn stuff, and the last couple of issues are actually really good。 Ultimately, this volume was fine it's just that, with this volume, I got a sense that Todd Mcfarlane either ran out of ideas of what do with this character or tried very hard to build momentum for when spawn makes the big decisions he must make but, in doing so, he wrote a lot of issues that seemed very repetitive and took forever to get to the point。 I already mentioned sam and twitch but, I think what saves this volume from not being a complete waste of time is all the side characters, and their stories were fascinating because they showed a lot of growth。 Overall, compare to the first volume, I'm slightly disappointed but it's just ok, hopefully, the next volume is better。 。。。more
